Youth Advisory Council – the Next Generation Taking Action with SeaWorld

Our purpose is to inspire people to protect animals and the wild wonders of our world. While as adults we can all do our part to make a difference, educating and inspiring future generations is critical to the survival of our planet.  And that’s why we are committed to creating an army of passionate, young conservationists who want to make a difference.

We launched the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Youth Advisory Council in 2015. This group of energetic, passionate, hard-working, won’t-take-no-for an-answer teens, has provided us with input on everything from our existing conservation initiatives to strategies to broaden our reach to their counterparts around the world.

We meet with several times a year, including in-person meetings. And to be honest, we wish it were more often. Their energy and ideas are infectious.  But don’t take our word for it – click here to meet the 2018 Youth Advisory Council.

The reality is, when we created the Council, our goal was to inspire future leaders.  As it turns out, they were the ones who ended up inspiring us.

Whether or not you are officially a member, you can still make a difference. Join the SeaWorld Action Team today learn how you can take action to conserve the world that we all share.

Interested in joining the Youth Advisory Council? Applications for the next class of Council members will open in Fall 2019.
