How SeaWorld is Helping Keep Orlando Clean

March 17, 2017

We love to provide inspiring moments for guests at our parks, but we especially love when people leave us inspired.

This was definitely the case on Saturday, March 11 when around 40 SeaWorld Ambassadors teamed up with Keep Orlando Beautiful to clean up Lake Fran. After four hours of hard work, the team helped clean up more than 2,000 pounds of trash and debris!

Lake Fran, located in Orlando, FL is part of a large watershed that drains into the Florida Bay. Along with the help of friends and family, the SeaWorld Cares Team cleaned trash from the shoreline to help prevent it from making its way into our oceans.

We are so thankful for all of the work and dedication that groups like the SeaWorld Team and Keep Orlando Beautiful put into protecting the environment, from helping keep storm drains clean, to now protecting our waterways.
